International Sales and Services

On the international front, Big Guns markets innovative tools to a variety of international countries. Some of the projects include:

Big Gun's Well Test Head

Big Gun's Well test head has been carefully designed to be the most advanced in the Oil and Gas Service industry and is considered the leading edge in well testing safety.

What makes the test head unique?

Big Gun's test head places the actuator in the test head itself, with a master valve below the actuator as a back-up system. As an added safety precaution the test head automatically shuts off the well in the event of gas leakage.

Safe and ready to use at all times no matter what the application is.

All other test heads are designed with an actuator - a mechanical device which acts on the outside of the head. This concept is excellent but still is a danger if the head should possibly get hooked or banged.

Designed to be able to stand up to today's modern technologies.

The Big Guns well test head has been designed from materials that can withstand high concentrations of H2S and yet remain fully functional. This amazing material, called SS105 spec NACE TM0177 grade with MR0175 internals, can withstand high H2S for 177 hrs of use and still have 60% of its life expectancy remaining.

Electronic Shut-In Tool

Big Gun's Electronic Shut-In Tool has a proven track record, making it one of the few electronic shut-in tools that operates reliably on a consistent basis. This innovative tool can be seated in most completion string landing nipples with standard lock mandrels, permitting the downhole shut-in of a well.

Our testing includes operating the tool reliably at the tool's extreme specifications - including cycling the tool open and close (20x) at 300°F (150°C), with 10,000 PSI (68,950 Kpa). In over 100 field tests, Big Gun's Electronic Shut-in Tool performs at over a 93% success ratio. Now those are results you can count on!

Applications*

*Can be utilized with Big Gun's Sampler Tool to gather PVT samples

Specifications

*Our largest flow-sub currently can flow 1.20 m³/min (7.5 bbl/min), under ideal [clean] conditions. Flow is reduced if the fluid contains high sand content. The rate can be reduced to as low as 0.76 m³/min (4.8 bbl/min)
